How to submit an article request

BEFORE YOU REQUEST AN ARTICLE:

If you found the article outside of the catalog, search for the title in the catalog first. This will make it easier for you to request the article.

Once you've found the article and clicked on the title, look for the orange "Request through InterLibrary Loan" Button.

When requesting an article, make sure you copy or write down the ISSN (underlined above), in case it does not show up on the form.

After clicking the orange REQUEST button, it will prompt you to log into the ILLiad platform.

If this is your first time logging in, you will use the same Username and Password as your email login (don't include @utica.edu in the username).

A registration form will pop up for you to fill out after.

You will then be brought to the filled-out request form( similar to the one below).

It will already be mostly filled out for you.

Make sure the ISSN is correct and then you can hit submit at the bottom of the screen.

Then you are done! If you want to check on your request click HERE to learn more.
