June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual (LGBTQIA) Pride Month. This month celebrates LGBTQ+ people and their strengths, talent, and creativity while creating awareness.

This resource guide includes information and resources about the history of Pride Month, important historical events, books, current organizations that support LGBTQIA+ people, and articles with helpful resources for those who would like to know more about the different subjects.

We will highlight this resource from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) that discusses them "officially declared a state of emergency for LGBTQ+ people in the United States for the first time following an unprecedented and dangerous spike in anti-LGBTQ+ legislative assaults sweeping state houses this year."

Please share this resource with anyone you know who might need it.
